That's how things look like from FP2, maybe few laps shorter on mediums though. Medium runners are expected to pit somewhat like 10 laps to the end of the race for softs. JB really remindes me of his Honda days this season.
P5 at best. He's out of league with top 4 on the grid and he will be racing Grosjean and Rosberg. Massa is faster than him on Nurbugring too and I don't see Ferrari fixing their understeer any time soon.
Pirelli is just sick of being pulled either side all the time. You try building a tire that degrades as such and is strong at the same time with non-cooperative teams.
However, there will now be testing and we'll never see 4 stop race again, if a 3 stoppers at times too, which is what everyone wants anyway. It's a shame really, cos there isn't such track as Silverstone for a long time anyway.
That'd be a lame jinx. Vettel is due to dice for victory for once. And even better, Hamilton came up again with accusations how Vettel is not on his and Alonso's level. So, there's some pride at stake there. Let the racing do the talking.
Hamilton's gonna be right on it as well. The tires and fairly cool conditions suit Merc and they've got a mighty top speed advantage over Vettel. I really hope for a fascinating race for victory.
